Earth Day is a day to celebrate and inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth! Earth Day was founded in the United States by Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in first held on April 22, 1970, today it is globally celebrated and coordinated by Earth Day Network.
