The SERC Library is a unique educational resource for Connecticut families and educators. Please enjoy perusing our blog. Come pay us a visit - we are open to the public and welcome you to come see for yourself everything that we offer!
In the spirit of the holidays and in light of the fact that food pantries have such a great need after the two recent storms, we are offering FOOD FOR FINES! The Library will waive overdue fines if you bring a non-perishable food item in with your overdue resources. FOOD FOR FINES will begin on Monday, November 21, 20ll. Thank you for your support!
The SERC Library will forgive fines on all overdue resources returned that are accompanied by a nonperishable food item. All donations will go to the Amazing Grace food pantry in Middletown run by St. Vincent de Paul Middletown. The SERC Library will be participating in the 3rd Annual Unity Day in Middletown on Saturday, August 20th from 11 am to 6 pm and we will bring the food donations on this day to the pantry. This is a great way to celebrate the day, summer, help your community, your library and yourself!
