On Monday, February 6th from 4 pm to 6 pm at the SERC Library Community Room the 3rd movie in our series will be shown: The Witness: From the Balcony of Room 306.
"The Witness: From the Balcony of Room 306" is a poignant retelling of a crucial turning point in the civil rights movement and a vibrant reminder of Dr. King's impact on the movement and our nation. Discussion will include reflection on what it means to be a witness today in the struggle for equity and social justice.
Come join us in exploring and deepening our collective understanding of the historical context of race and racism in the United States of America.
Space is limited to 30 participants. You must make a reservation in order to attend, and will receive confirmation via email. To reserve your space, please email Lauren D. Jones at ljones@ctserc.org. For content questions, please contact Kc Nelson-Oliveria at nelson-oliveria@ct.serc.org.
